How do you understand depression?
Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. That affects how you feel, think and behave; and at the end it could lead to a variety of emotional and physical issues. Therefore Depression can be provoked by unmotivated feelings and thoughts in everything.the research has showed that this type of negative feeling is among the cause of disability worldwide; and according to the World Health Organization (WHO) there is always a possibility that adults, adolescents, and children can get depressed. In addition it results to a life that the depressed never thought before, that is full of stress and inability to strive for a better life due to the situation, despite the fact that the vulnerable give up on themselves with no more confidence or self care, but it also gives a deep anger and takes away all of intrinsic from them. (Ranna Parekh, M.D, M.P.H, 2017)
Statistics demonstrated that.
The CDC estimate that, in the U.S., 3.2% of children and teens aged 3–17 have a diagnosis of depression. And approximately 9% of men in the United States have feelings of depression or anxiety, according to the American Psychological Association.beyond this Depression is nearly twice as common among women as men, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Worldwide. (Timothy J. Legg, Ph.D, 2019)
Two of the most common forms of depression are:

4. Steps of healing
1. Denial: Not accepting a strange situation, in our everyday life when we encounter adversities not being able to admit is very normal to human. This is where you cry and utter in your own words that “I do not understand this, it didn’t have to happen, why me?” but that’s the way to healing.
During this stage it is a right time to release all the emotions that were kept for instance on the death of an important and valuable person in someone’s life, that person can hold the emotions while organizing burial and after everything is done, that person get a time to release all the tears or to write the memories they hard together, or composing a message for them to heal that invisible sorrow and mourn for what is gone.
3. Acceptance: Now this is where a person understands that what happened to him also happen or happened to others, how you don’t have to blame yourself for what you lost but instead admit God’s wish upon you and indeed here the person is approaching to overcome all things that would lead him to sleepless nights, losing weight and others. Self-acceptance is an easy step which is not often taken by everyone that had certain difficulties in life, for if you manage to take it, you can make a good difference in your life.
1. Let it go: (Most of the time in life we feel we can stay with our loved ones, our properties, but on the way to healing you have to accept that what is gone is gone, what happened has happened and start to understand that you can do nothing to change it and then you let it go, and start a new step of life with a belief of starting from zero and become hero,, and allow yourself to stay positive and motivated.
